There are few things that are as delicious as a refreshing cocktail in the summertime. What is it about mint and lime that just kicks up a drink a few notches? It’s endless summer here in Hawaii, which means I have ample time to practice my cocktail-making skills. Unless you’ve been hiding out under a rock, you know that hard seltzer is all-the-rage right now, so I knew I wanted to include that in my spritz. We are also in the heat of mango season here in Hawaii, so I also wanted to include those, too. The result? My light and tasty Mango Lime Spritz!

Have you tried hard seltzer yet? I was skeptical at first, but it turns out — I’m a big fan of the pure variety, because it tastes just like sparkling water! For this specific recipe, I used White Claw® Pure Hard Seltzer, which contains 5% alcohol, 100 calories, and 0g carbs. It’s made using a blend of seltzer water and gluten free BrewPure® alcohol. Trust me when I tell you, there’s no funky aftertaste and I’m majorly impressed.

There are hints of lime, mint and mango, but the overall taste is light and refreshing. To note, the mango is sweet enough on its own without muddling, but if you want to create more flavor, muddle away!
