If you’ve been around here for a little bit, you know that stockings are a BFD in my family! In fact, they are more anticipated than the actual gifts. When I was a kid, ripping into the stockings was the highlight of our Christmas morning celebration. Well that and my mom’s breakfast pizza, of course. So if you look at this and wonder – how the heck is that a “stocking stuffer”, that’s why. I felt like I needed to give a disclaimer, LOL! In any case, our stockings usually hold our “big” gifts and nearly everything inside is wrapped. It’s a fun tradition that I look forward to each year and it has been even more fun to get Dane in on the family fun. Without further ado, here are my picks for the best 2019 stocking stuffers!
Best Stocking Stuffers
USB Charging Cable – How many of you have suffered from “my cord isn’t long enough to charge” syndrome? Dane was sick of listening of me complain about this not only when we travel, but at night, when my phone’s standard cord didn’t stretch far beyond my nightstand and led to me falling out of bed when I went to shut my alarm off. This extra long USB is not only FAST CHARGING, but has a ball to anchor it when you need to keep it in place.
GIR (Get It Right) Products – If you aren’t using GIR in your kitchen yet, get ready for a seriously (fun) upgrade. Their silicone kitchen products are some of my favorite and all the fun colors they come in is just a delightful bonus. This spatula is my tried and true and the skinny version is great for getting every last drop out of jars.
Deodorant Wipes – In a pinch and need to wipe on something fresh? These wipes have you covered.
SDJ Lip Butter – I have been using this over a year and not only do I love the smell, it’s a thick tube so it’s not getting lost in the bottom of my bag or desk drawer. It’s perfect for anyone who loves a tropical scent! To be fair, I keep it at my desk and one stick lasts around 6 months!
Hydro Flask – This is a no-brainer and there is a size for every need in the Hydro Flask family. From the beach to the mountains, trains, planes and everywhere in between, nothing holds drinks like a Hydro Flask. On a recent trip to London, my Flask kept the ice solid from Honolulu to London — and remained for two days! It isn’t the first time that has happened, but it always amazes me when I see first hand how amazing this product is.
Maya Brenner Necklace – This is one of my very favorite gifts Dane ever got me, so of course it’s making this list. I will say it’s an investment piece, but it’s high quality, fully customizable and I know I’ll have it for years. Need some convincing? I did an entire review post on them! Magazine Subscription – This is such a unique gifting option and I think it’s one of those gifts that people appreciate more, because they can enjoy it all year long. I’m definitely one of those people that still enjoys holding a physical magazine and for $5-$10, your friends and family can, too!
Tortoise Earrings – How fun are these? You can’t go wrong with a classic like tortoise shell and I love the unique style of these. Dress them up or down, they are being gifted to a few ladies on my list this year!
Bombas Socks – These are the socks that everyone is talking about — and for good reason. They’re some of the best socks I’ve worn for running, working out and inside shoes (they don’t fall down!). My mom also raves about the Merino wool variety. Still not sure? Check out my Bombas Socks review!
Essential Oil Diffuser – This oil diffuser changed my life! It works so well, is less than $20 and I have one in every room of my house. It’s a must for anyone who is even a tiny bit interested in essential oils. I promise you won’t be disappointed!
Rose Gold Ring Dish – Under $10 and handmade, this is a gift that will not only be adored, but it’s useful. Plus, who doesn’t want a little something sparkly to keep all their jewelry in one spot?
Multipurpose Scarf – The amount of use I’ve gotten out of my Vinyasa Scarf from Lululemon is not quantifiable. I have used it as a scarf, a shawl, a vest, a blanket, a shirt and a pillow. Honestly, I’ve probably used it for more, but those are what come to mind first. I love this product so much I’ve gifted it on more than one occasion and I truly believe it’s worth every dollar. Lots of colors to choose from this season is a nice plus 🙂
Beach Hat – I’ve talked about my favorite hats before, but there’s something about gifting a useful present like a beach hat at the holidays that just makes sense. This is especially true if you’re like me and live in a tropical location 😉
Dry Shampoo – Earlier this year, I wrote all about this dry shampoo and if it’s worth the spend. The quick answer? Yes, all the way. The mini travel size would make a useful stocking stuffer and one any hair goddess in your life would appreciate!
