Sometimes I wish I was as cool as Oprah and could host a ‘favorite things’ day and just give away all my favorites to my readers. The truth is, I’m not, but the next best thing is sharing them here so that if you’ve seen something you love you can snag it for yourself. Better yet, you can pass this list along to someone who might be buying you a gift this year!
Everything here is something I own, love and has made its way onto my favorites list for one reason or another (sharing the reason why for each below!) and would buy over and over again.
Kait’s Favorite Things
Large Initial Necklace – If you’ve been around here for awhile you’ve likely seen me wearing this. It’s affordable, comes in every letter of the alphabet and I have worn mine both in the shower and in the ocean without any signs of wear/tear. Winning!
Kauai Coffee – Best way to start my day! We like the Coconut Caramel Crunch flavor best!
Re-usuable K-Cups – We have used a Keurig for years, but the pods seemed super wasteful. We’ve been using our re-usuable K-cups forever now and they’ve lasted, brew a mean cup of coffee and make us feel like we are doing our part by not using daily disposables and keeping our old coffee pot.
Double Initial Necklace – This is a hot ticket item every holiday season! I haven’t taken mine off since Dane gifted it to me ๐ You can read all about why I love it here.
Slip-on Sneakers – I’m pretty sure these started as a kid’s sneaker, but ask me how much I care about that… ๐ They are slip on, waterproof, I can wash them in the dishwasher (top rack), and super comfortable (wore them all over Europe). Plus – they’re affordable! Still need convincing? Read all about why I love mine.
Travel Scarf – This scarf is more than a scarf. It’s waterproof and comes in multiple colors, but here’s the deal – I’ve worn it as a shirt, as a vest, as a scarf (of course), a shawl, a cape, a blanket and a head scarf. It also makes a great pillow! A traveling MUST.
Dry Shampoo – No shocker that I wrote an entire post on the magic of this dry shampoo!
Teasing Comb – I think I’ve had this since college (or shortly after) and it’s the only brush I can trust to control my hair and give it volume in Hawaii. If your hair needs volume, this is the secret!
Longline Tank – Not only do these have a built in bra for fellow #IttyBittyTittyCommittee members, but it doesn’t stink, doesn’t shrink and was practically made for long torsos. LOVE!
High-Rise Leggings – Supporting a B-Corp seems like a no-brainer, but it helps when the products are UH-mazing. I have 3 pairs of these and they all look as good as the day I bought them even though I have worked out, traveled, slept, hiked and more in them. Super high rise and also super flattering!
Snooties (that’s sneaker booties!) – I wore these all around London (10+ miles in a single day!) without every having previously worn them. They look good casual or dressed up and bit and it’s another B-Corp that feels good supporting!
Bum Bum Cream – This stuff smells amazing! It’s a splurge, but I love it and really enjoy lathering it on before bed for mega hydrated skin post-shower.
CBD Gummies – I have been taking these for almost a year now. You can read my CBD gummies review (discount code too if you’re interested!).
Bombas Socks – I couldn’t understand why people were losing their minds over socks and then I got a pair. Safe to say there’s no going back for me. A full Bombas socks review if you need a little nudge ๐
K.L. Slater Books – I love a good psychological thriller book (50+ Psychological Thrillers To Read) and K.L. Slater’s books never disappoint. I know I can order one for a trip without hesitation and thoroughly enjoy myself.
Amazon Nightgown Dress – You heard me rave about this sucker all summer and then I dragged the madness into the fall, because…#Hawaii. That said, there are a ton of colors and if you’re not gifting this to yourself this season, we need to chat…
Face Razors – I shave my face! Do I need to do a post on that? The bottom line is that my skincare products go on smoother and so does my makeup. WINNING! I love these for affordability and quality.
Hydro Flask – I never leave home without it, which warrants a favorite thing, right? On more than one occasion, my Flask has kept ice solid for more than 3 days. It never ceases to amaze me!
