Have you ever had an idea for a recipe and then you think — surely that won’t be quite as good as I’m imagining in my head?! Well, this time, it worked out! While I was traveling this fall to see my parents in PA, my mom hosted a big outdoor dinner party (that quickly turned into an indoor affair thanks to chilly temps!). As an appetizer, she put together a delicious sweet and savory charcuterie spread with so many different tasty treats. One of the sweeter selections was this two-ingredient apple pie dip we had brainstormed together. Just two ingredients and a blender is all you need for this insanely delicious fall appetizer option. Let’s dive in!
Two-Ingredient Best Ever Apple Pie Dip
The key to making this recipe a success is the blender. If you have been a longtime reader, you might remember my Apple Pie Dip from a few years back and let me just tell you — this one is far better. That one is still a delicious option, but I think I prefer this two-ingredient version better.
Our two-ingredient dip was so tasty that I barely had time to snap any photos, so these phone pics are all I’ve got — it’s THAT good. Trust me on this one — it was gone before I could even make time to get the real camera out 😉
To make this easy Thanksgiving recipe at home, you will need:
1 cup apple pie filling
1 block (8 oz) of cream cheese (sub in Kite Hill or Daiya to make this dairy free)
1. Add cup of apple pie dip first, then cream cheese, to a blender and blend on high.
2. Serve alongside animal crackers, graham crackers or vanilla wafers.
I know this seems like such a simple recipe, but it tastes SO good. If you prefer a thicker dip that appears more fluffy, use less slightly less apple pie filling.
