Horses In Iceland Photo Diary

Iceland, Travel · May 4, 2020 · Leave a Comment

If you have ever wanted to see the horses in Iceland, this photography diary of our time with Icelandic horses is for you!

One of the projects I’ve been working lately aside from cleaning my house…is cleaning my photo hard drives. I have so many photos that I haven’t done anything with – no editing, no printing, no making into a photo book for personal memories…nada!

Last week when I posted my Hawaiian Sunset Photo Diary, I shared that I took some online editing classes and watched a bunch of tutorials to learn some new editing tips. The result has been combing through hundreds of travel photos, wildlife photos, Hawaii photos, family photos and dog photos to try out new techniques.

When I found an archive of Icelandic horse photos, I knew I needed to make a specific photo diary just for them. The horses in Iceland are famous and you can see them right on the side of the road through most of the country. It’s pretty amazing.

They are pony-sized and often have pretty impressive manes, made all the more cool by the insane winds that whip through the country.

In any case, if you have any interest in these beautiful animals, today’s photo diary post is for you!
