I have blinked and it’s November. TGIF, everyone! I hope you had a great week and remembered to unclench your jaw, relax your shoulders, and breathe deeply. Today I’m chatting two must-watch documentaries, how we took social distancing to the next level, an oldie-but-goodie in the skincare department and more. It’s time to dive in to this week’s edition of 5 Things I Love Friday…
5 Things I Love Friday
We took social distancing to a whole new level a couple weekends ago by loading up the car with paddle boards and heading out to the water. It felt so good to get up with the sun, get in some good exercise, and enjoy the open ocean.
Sequin headband – I am very into headbands and this sparkly stunner beckons to me. The only thing is – where am I going? Sometimes I do like to feel a bit fancy at my desk and to be honest – anything to keep this mane out of my face is a winner.
The Way I See It – Have you watched Pete Souza’s documentary? If you’re not sure, Souza spent many years as the White House photographer and in this documentary (“The Way I See It”) he goes through what that is like, experiences he had, and more. It’s so eye-opening and so well done! My mom kept raving about it and when I finally sat down to watch, I could see why. I laughed, I cried, and overall I highly recommend it! You can watch on Peacock TV.
And speaking of feel-good things to watch – who has watched “My Octopus Teacher” on Netflix? Cue all the tears! We loved this and definitely sobbed at the end. What an inspiring gift!
I know I’ve talked before about this facial treatment from The Ordinary, but I recently fell in love all over again. I try to use it once per week and it leaves my skin feel baby soft.
