Royal Hawaiian Hotel Family Photos

For our 2020 family photos, we chose MaxSnaps as our photographer and The Royal Hawaiian Hotel as our location. The result? A pastel, tropical daydream!

I have to be honest, I didn’t think family photos were going to happen this year! Hawaii has had some of the tightest restrictions in the country and it wasn’t looking good. But, as soon as the state opened up a bit, we hired my dear fried Max of MaxSnaps for a family photo session.

For as long as Dane and I have lived in Hawaii, The Royal Hawaiian Hotel has been one of our favorite places on Oahu. What’s not to love about an all-pink hotel? They have an amazing beach bar + I still dream about our stay in the Mailani Tower!

It felt like an obvious choice for a tropical family photoshoot! We have lots of family photos in Hawaii, but none at the Royal Hawaiian, so off we went! The result is better than I could have ever imagined and I can’t wait to reveal our Christmas cards this year. Because I knew our background was going to be the trademark pink, I chose tropical colors for our outfits. Dane is a color lover like me, so it worked out perfectly and honestly, he goes with whatever ideas I have, especially when it comes to photos. My dress is Farm Rio and it’s probably one of my favorite quarantine purchases!
