TGI-mother freaking-F! I am so happy to see the weekend, because I felt like I was in the weeds all week. I’d get one thing done and I had six more pile up. Dane works all weekend, but to celebrate Valentine’s Day we are going to pick out something to cook together at home from Whole Food’s on Sunday night and then probably pick out a movie. I am SO excited for something low key – COVID or no COVID. Does that make us old?

Dane works so many weekends, which usually means I’m flying solo for any sort of fun weekend adventure. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized how important it is to push myself outside my comfort zone, which includes doing things on my own. Running up a local trailhead by myself felt super intimidating, but I conquered it and I felt such a rush of accomplishment.
Bum Bum Cream is like a vacation in a jar. I had forgotten how much I love it for a couple months, but after Dane restocked my supply for Christmas, I was quickly reminded. I have gifted this brand’s products to so many people over the years, because I’ve yet to meet someone who doesn’t fall in love. If you’ve ever wondered what I smell like (probably weird), it’s this most days!
Have you seen the viral lipstick on TikTok? My friend Terri told me about it and I can’t wait to get my hands on a bottle to try! I’ve worn LipSense for years after I was introduced to it by a friend and then wore it in multiple weddings. I love that my lips don’t budge, but it’s definitely a bit of an investment.
When I saw this new product from NYX, I was like..yes. yes. Sign me up. With Terri’s seal of approval and photos to prove it, I was sold. The only thing is…it’s pretty much sold out everywhere. I signed up for e-mails to let me know when it was back in stock and ordered immediately upon getting the email. It should arrive next week…stay tuned!
