Happy February! I’m so excited to be linking up with Anne for her monthly Currently series. If you have absolutely no clue what I’m talking about, pop over to her site and take a peek around — you WILL NOT be disappointed I love, love, love this series and today I’m joining her and some of the fabulous faces who frequent her internet space for this month’s Currently, which covers what I’m currently loving, reading, remembering, sharing, and wishlisting. Let’s jump right in…
Currently
Loving
All the new drone footage we’ve been getting around the island. Lots of exciting new photos on the horizon!
Reading
“The Other Woman“, but I just started it, so I don’t have a gauge on it quite yet. I recently finished:
Untamed by Glennon Doyle, which was good but took me awhile to get through, because sometimes I struggle with the ‘rah rah own your power’ genre. That said, there are some good morsels in these pages and I would recommend it. Love Warrior is still my favorite of hers, though.
The Turn of The Key by Ruth Ware – Let me preface this by saying that I LOVE Ruth Ware, and this has a great plot with dramatic details, but the ending was like all of a sudden she remembered she had to finish the book and then it was just…finished. I was so sad!
If You Tell by Gregg Olsen – Probably one of the most disturbing books I’ve ever read, but I absolutely could not put it down. This one will stick with you for awhile…and it’s based on a true story!
Remembering
Valentine’s Day marks 16 years since my grandfather passed away. It’s kind of hard to believe, because so much about his passing feels like yesterday and 100 years ago all at once. I was in high school when he passed and he has missed so many milestones in my life that I know he would have been really excited about. If nothing else, he was so extraordinarily proud of his family and it stings a little bit each year knowing he isn’t physically here.
Sharing
I spend more days in sets from Free People than I care to admit, but sharing is caring, right? This onesie and this two piece set are my go-tos for work from home days!
Wishlisting
A caned headboard. I saw one styled on Studio McGee’s Netflix show and thought – why haven’t I explored this before? There is a local furniture maker here in Hawaii I’m interested in working with to bring this vision to life. But seriously – how amazing is Davin’s work?
