TGIF! My body’s battery is at about 2% this Friday, so let’s hop right into what I’m loving this week, including an unexpected dog surgery and why I have no energy…
5 Things I Love Friday
I love a feel-good story, don’t you? It’s why I loved write about how a small town moved their UPS driver to tears this week.
Judy and Bill went in for routine health check-ups this week and we were shocked when our vet wheeled Judy in for emergency surgery. She had a mass on her eye, which we had mistakenly thought was an ingrown hair! Seriously, it looked so small and minor, but our vet said it needed to be removed immediately. Our sweet girl wound up losing about half her eyelid and recovery has been heart wrenching. She whimpered endlessly for the first night and just looked so sad. We are crossing her fingers the biopsy comes back benign!
I’ve been a long-time face shaver, so when I got the opportunity to write about it for TODAY Show, I was all in. Facial shaving makes my skin softer! Are you using Tinkle razors yet?
I received my second dose of the vaccine this week and it absolutely knocked me on my ass. It’s so interesting to me how doses impact people differently. That said, I am extremely grateful to military healthcare for a rollout that is accessible and seamless for families.
I do not need more pajamas. I repeat: We are at pajama capacity at the Hanson house. So why can’t I get this rainbow set out of my brain?
