5 Things I Love Friday
Last weekend we had the most perfect day on the sandbar with our friends. The water was calm, the tide was low, and the sun was hot. It felt so good to be able to relax and enjoy the weather. The rainy season has lasted so much longer this year, which means cooler temperatures, lots of wind, and heavy rain. Needless to say, a day in the sunshine felt really good and our friends brought hot donuts…yum!
I’m so excited to share that this week, my photography got installed at Honolulu Beerworks. Because of COVID, we are doing prints by QR code at the brewpub, which means no matter where you live, the feeling of warm sun on your face, salty air, and turquoise ocean all in one photograph is just a few clicks away from being yours forever. Check out my photography page for more information, or to order, and special thanks to my friend Max for snapping this quick picture of me the day the pieces went up!
Very dear friends of ours are finalizing their move off Oahu and to say I’m devastated would be the understatement of the century. We’ve had so many people come and go, but the goodbyes never get easier. Admittedly, it has all happened very fast, which can be common in the military, but it makes the sting a little worse, and this summer is going to be a really difficult one for me.
Is anyone else as excited as we are for the second season of Ted Lasso?!
I’m on the hunt for a solid new pair of jean shorts. I had a very unsuccessful mall trip last weekend and it left me feeling really bummed out. Why is women’s sizing so messed up? In any case, if you have a jean short favorite (that isn’t Madewell, J. Crew, or Abercrombie), drop me a link!
