Sharing all the details of my Revlon One Step Hairy Dryer and Volumizer…and if it’s worth it!
I have been intrigued by the viral hair dryer brush trend, but I have hesitated to get one, solely because I was worried it wouldn’t work on my hair. Well, when I got to my parents, my mom was like “Oh I have that!”

So naturally, I tested it out my entire trip and here I am now talking about it.
Revlon One Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer
Revlon says the “One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer has the power of a dryer, and volume of a styler for fast, silky-smooth, shiny results.” The biggest concern I had was that the bristles were going to tangle my fine hair and that it would just make me a sweaty mess while styling. Typically I flip my head over to dry my hair.
I also worried that it was going to be like all the miscellaneous hair gadgets I have stocked up on in the past that did’t work great for my hair – rollers, Beachwaver…you see where this is going – just because it was viral and I was in my house all the time. And also – would it hold up against hot weather or would my lion mane really come alive? I live in Hawaii, after all.

The Revlon Pro Collection brush also claims to volumize because of the oval shape, detangle because of the combination of bristles, and multiple heat settings.
I used it the first time on my first day in PA, and it was cool in the morning. I sectioned off my hair with a small hair clip and did the under layer first before letting down the top and my bangs. I think the whole process start to finish was less than 10 minutes. I was shocked!
My hair looked great, but I wasn’t holding my breath, because in cooler weather, my hair typically stays put. I loved how it looked so I took a photo with my mom.

Well, the day quickly became a swampy, 90-degree Pennsylvania day – yikes! We had been running errands, going in and out of stores, before going out to lunch with my grandma. Before we left lunch (after sitting outside, no less), I wanted to get a photo with my grandma. I was SHOCKED by how good my hair still looked – I was sweating an obscene amount….but no frizz, fluff, or curly looking hair.
Hair Dryer Brush Review
All of this to say, I was worried about getting the product in Hawaii (shipping can be expensive and weird) and found it for two-hour pickup. So now, I have one coming back to Hawaii with me in my suitcase! Not only do I think it works well, I think the price is 100% worth it. Less hot tools, less time, and a great end product. It’s safe to say I’m absolutely impressed!
