TGIF – My favorite post of the week is back! It’s been a really long time since I’ve been able to get my act together to put together a ‘5 Things I Love Friday’ but HERE I AM. Also, I’m extremely ready for the weekend. Anyone else? Let’s get right into it…
5 Things I Love Friday
College Game Day is at Penn State this weekend for the Auburn game! I can practically feel the excitement from here and I’ll definitely be tuning in from Hawaii!
My friend Lauren (you may recognize her as Lauren Roth Art!) launched a beautiful sketchbook this week and I’m so proud of her. I was able to preview the design and layout and I can tell you that the prompts, layout, and quotes scattered within are so thoughtfully curated to be the ultimate in inspiration. The sketchbook is on pre-sale right now, and each order comes with an art print signed by Lauren 🙂 Would make a great gift ahead of the holidays!
Target’s candle department never disappoints. This 5-wick might just be my new fall favorite and after I discovered the SALT scent, I’ve been burning it in our bedroom in the 3-wick style. It lasts forever and the scent is strong enough that you know it’s there/covers up any lingering “dog scent”, but not too overpowering where you gag a little in your throat.
The weather here on Oahu is starting to show the first signs of….rainy season. I hate even saying those words out loud, because even though I love cooler temps, the grey skies and rainy weather really puts me in some kind of mood. It’s fine for a few days and then I get a little disheartened by it all. Anyone else feel that way? I’m dreaming of true fall weather on the east coast!
The other day my friend Casey told me that she got the most adorable new dishes that were Anthropologie style for a fraction of the cost. Now, you know I love me some Anthro, but yikes, I don’t always have that kind of budget. Well, this dish set is a WINNER! The polka dots just SPEAK to me.
