Happy Monday and September! My on-and-off posting in this space hasn’t been intentional, but life has been 100mph. I do miss sharing posts here, so it’s my goal in the next few months to get better about sharing when I am able. Of course, I’m making this goal just as the busiest quarter of the year looms…gulp!

In any case, here’s what we’ve been up to this summer, all courtesy of my iPhone. A really exciting update is that I upgraded my phone and the camera is really good (like, really really good!), so I’ve been enjoying that. Happy (almost) fall, everyone!

In the spirit of celebrating my new phone’s camera, I took a couple snaps of the dogs at the beach shaking themselves off and I think these might be my new favorite photos.

Six months in with my Peloton bike and I didn’t know it was possible, but I somehow love it MORE than the day I got it. I recently hit a record high best output (for me) on a ride – 410! – and wanted to capture it.

While my parents were in town, we ventured to Waikiki Beach which is always more crowded than I enjoy, but it’s a great spot to float and we had the best weather.

What is better than starting a weekend with chocolate chip croissants?

In an attempt to break out of our routine, we decided to do an at-home Raclette date. I might do a whole post on this, because it was fun, and relatively easy, though I will say, my entire house smelled like cheese, which I really did not enjoy, LOL!

These are the best that Oreo has ever made. I know that’s a bold claim, but I lived off these while covering the Olympics this summer. As summer fades into fall, I can’t seem to find them at my grocery store anymore, but if you happen to see them, GET THEM!

While our summer has been mostly low key here in Hawaii, there have been plenty of moments that have made it feel special that didn’t get the honor of being photographed. Insert a quote here about those moments living on in my memory only 😉 I hope everyone else had a great season and I’m eager to see what the last part of 2021 brings 🙂
