There is nothing I love more than a beautiful Hawaii sunrise and if you’ve been around here for a bit, you are probably well aware that I think that time of day here is pretty magical 🙂

Sunrise in Hawaii is between 5:45AM and 7AM, depending on the time of year, so plan accordingly and double check easily using this Hawaii sunrise and sunset chart. I know it’s early, but it’s always worth the wakeup call — trust me!

Dawn is a popular time to catch waves on Oahu, so it’s not uncommon to see surfers at sunrise. When the light reflects off the water, it’s so peaceful, especially with the view from above.

I’ve compiled a few of my favorite surf photos from sunrise over the years and if you are a fan of aerial photography, you might enjoy them too 🙂

The pink shades are my favorite, but seeing the glow illuminate the whole skyline is just ahh…*chef’s kiss*
