Considering Aloha Artisans Oahu for an upcoming party? Read all about how they transformed my friend’s home for her birthday!
Last week, our friend was celebrating her birthday in the middle of the week and honestly – I was looking forward to a little Wednesday night fun! What I was absolutely not prepared for was how truly special of a night it would turn out to be.
Aloha Artisans Party Picnic
Our friend KT was celebrating her 40th and her husband wanted to make it special, so while she was getting pampered at the spa that day, he had Aloha Artisans party rental come by and transform their yard into a birthday oasis.
The end result was so beautiful and the night was pure magic, so obviously I wanted to share about it 🙂 The get together was small (for 6 people) and held in their yard at home, but I think this would be a beautiful set-up on a beach, park, etc.

Aloha Artisans Picnic Hawaii
Aloha Artisans came and set up two umbrellas, a couple rugs, poufs for everyone to sit, string lights, a full (set) table, and linens. It was pretty much a boho dream and while I didn’t book myself, our friend told us it was affordable and totally worth it. As a party guest, I completely agree 😉
Personally, I love hosting get-togethers, but I won’t lie, the stress of the day-of often sends me spinning. I want things to be perfect and nice, but decor, prep, and food is a lot to manage in one day.
I will definitely consider recreating this party picnic pop-up for future events, and here’s why:
The balancing act of hosting a party is taken off your plate. You pick the time and Aloha Artisans brings everything, sets it up, leaves you to enjoy, and then comes to tear it down and clean it up at a designated time.
Clement, KT’s husband, also hired a private chef (Angela from That Girl Cooks) and she was incredible. Fun personality, delicious food, timely service, and just all around super great human being. He had Angela custom make a menu of all KT’s favorite foods and everything tasted great. Even food I would normally not eat (mushroom jalapeño poppers…I couldn’t get enough!)
And from the hosting side, having someone there making sure your glasses were refilled, taking care of all the appetizers, and main dishes, felt like we could all just relax and enjoy.
Let’s talk about KT’s cake, because it was INSANE! It was a custom made letter cake from Tropicakes Hawaii and let me be honest for a second, I have wanted to try one of these FOREVER. I had no idea what to expect, but it was what I can describe as like a cream puff mixed with shortbread, and delicious chocolate treats on top. Also – there was edible glitter! Just beautiful.
All I can say is that it was a beautiful birthday celebration and I’m so lucky to say that we have such great friends here in Hawaii to enjoy nights like this together! Also worth noting, this was in no way paid or sponsored by any of the linked companies, I just wanted to offer my utmost praise to them, because I’m still dreaming about this special night! Happy Birthday KT!
