Looking for a present that isn’t material? I’m sharing the best experiences to give as gifts to the people you love the most.
We’ve all heard the question before – what do you give the person who has everything? It can be pretty challenging in 2021 to gift something special for the people in our lives, so today I’m sharing gift experiences to share for birthdays and holidays.
I’ve always loved giving gifts that people will not only enjoy, but find meaningful. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized that some of the best gifts I have given and received have been actually doing something, and making good on the “let’s get together” parting line I tell people.
If you are interested in gifting someone an experience this year, this post is for you!
Best Experiences To Give As Gifts
Cameo Video – Do they love a famous person? Have a celebrity or notable personality make them a personalized video to celebrate any occasion. These are so fun, and while some are pretty pricey, they are almost always a HUGE hit!
Wine Club Membership – Does someone you love enjoy wine? Sign them up for a subscription service for a certain number of months…and then ask them to host a wine tasting night 🙂
National Parks Pass – The explorer will always be grateful for the opportunity to get outside more! An annual NPS pass lets them explore every National Park…on your dime 😉
Flower Deliveries – What’s better than fresh flowers? Personally, I think they make any room brighter. Set up your loved one with monthly flower deliveries so they get to enjoy your gift longer.
Cookbook and Ingredients – I had this gifted to me once and I thought it was such a good idea. A friend gave me a cookbook they thought I’d love, but had already picked out a recipe for me to try, along with the necessary ingredients. Was so fun!
Reservations – I never regret spending time with the people I love, so doing something like planning a night out or making a plan for a spa day takes the guesswork out of how you will enjoy time together.
Meal Prep Delivery Service – We are all busy, so taking meal prep off someone’s to-do list is practically a gift sent from heaven. Meal delivery services like Blue Apron and others take the guesswork out of dinner after a long day.
ClassPass Gift Card – Do they live in a city where ClassPass is popular? We gifted this to my brother-in-law one year since he’s in NYC and he got to use it for a variety of fitness classes. It was very well-received!
AirBnb or VRBO Booking – If you want to splurge a little, I cannot think of a more perfect gift than a mini getaway. Dane has done this for me before, and it was epic!
Food Delivery – I got this idea when a friend of mine had a baby. Her neighbor set up a schedule for meal deliveries from local restaurants, and I thought – what a freaking great gift!
Sporting Event Tickets – What’s better than giving the gift of time spent together plus seeing their favorite team? Up the anté by buying a ticket for yourself too 🙂
