Looking for a fleece jacket? You’re in luck, because I’m sharing my favorite women’s fleece jackets that are perfect for chilly weather!
I know what you’re thinking…why is a girl in Hawaii blogging about fleece jackets? I get it. I really do. But hear me out. While I have no reason for a full-on winter coat, I do wear fleece jackets here as the temperatures cool down.
We also have plans to travel to the east coast over the holidays, so making sure I have something other than my usual “uniform” which consists of bike shorts and a t-shirt is going to be pretty important this year.
If you’re in the market for a new fleece jacket, here are a couple of the styles I love this season.
Fleece Jackets I Love
Womens Fleece Jackets
North Face Denali – Let me preface this by saying I’ve had my Denali fleece since college. It was pretty much a staple at Penn State and I’m happy to report it’s just as great as the day I got it. It holds up remarkably well, and I’ve washed it dozens of times, and also taken it to many (many) bars, fraternity house parties, and football games.
Patagonia Better Sweater – I got this a couple years ago for Christmas and it’s one of the most worn items in my closet. I like to bring it on airplanes, because it layers really nicely, and can also be worn dressed up or down. It’s definitely less of a jacket, and more of a fleece, if that makes sense? But it’s incredibly warm and I highly recommend it.
Free People Hit The Slopes – COLOR! COLOR! COLOR! The beauty of this jacket is just how many colors it comes in and makes it easy to really make a statement. As soon as I saw it in the fall/winter catalog, I knew I wanted to order one that popped. I’m still trying to decide between Neon Coral + Pineapple Punch.
Lululemon Reversible Fleece Jacket – I saw this for the first time on Gaby from What’s Gaby Cooking. She’s the best Lululemon ambassador, because I always see things I want in action and not just online or in the store. Sadly, this is sold out in the green online, and so is my store. I am kicking myself for not buying it when I had the chance. If you can pick it up in store – do it!
Sherpa Pullover – This is cuter in person than it is online. I know this because my mom and I both looked at it in store, then sent the other a link with the disclaimer “This is so cute in person!” It’s so soft and the colors are more vibrant than they appear. The Assorted Warms looks less leopard-y in person and more colorful – I love it! Fits true to size.
Dudley Stephens – Admittedly, I haven’t gotten mine yet! My friend Katie was the impetus of me finally ordering one, because I think they look so pulled together as both 1. something warm and 2. a top I can wear all on its own. The wide neck is flattering and I think the black is going to be really versatile, especially for travel days and cold weather trips. Again, a really great option to dress up or down given they are tailored, but fleece.
