Happy December, everyone! I’m so excited to be linking up with Anne for her monthly Currently series. If you have absolutely no clue what I’m talking about, pop over to her site and take a peek around — you WILL NOT be disappointed  I love, love, love this series and today I’m joining her and some of the fabulous faces who frequent her internet space for this month’s Currently, which covers what I’m currently decorating, feeling, sending, smelling, and wrapping.

Decorating

Is anyone else a cookie fanatic this time of year? Painted sugar cookies are on the menu at the Hanson house. 

Feeling

Excited for the fresh slate of a new year upon us. Is anyone else feeling that way? Don’t get me wrong, I love the holidays, but there is something so exciting (to me) about a blank slate.

Also feeling particularly excited that today is December 1, which means we will be counting down toward Dane’s birthday on the 18th!

Sending

We sent out our Christmas cards so early this year, and I’m glad we did. I thought up the idea this summer, executed it, and got them out the week before Thanksgiving. It seems like this holiday season arrived at 100mph, and so getting that checked off my list was a huge relief. I’ll be sharing them here soon, too.

Smelling

I can’t help myself when it comes to Christmas candles and this year is no exception. I’ve got Fresh Basalm and Mahogany Teakwood blends going, and I’ve got Capri Blue Volcano on deck for 2022. 

Wrapping

Up the year! Honestly this year flew by for me and ending the year entails a lot of tying up of loose ends, all while enjoying the season. Of course, I’m also wrapping presents for friends and family. Have you seen the beautiful SuperPaper designs this year?!
