When we found out we were moving to the mainland, I know I wanted to invest in some furniture while we were here. Shipping costs to Hawaii are a bit prohibitive, so furniture can be pretty pricy. One of the top items we knew we wanted to buy was a velvet couch. We narrowed it down to blue velvet and green velvet, before ultimately settling on green for something different. Doesn’t it seem like everyone has a blue velvet couch right now? Anyway…green it was!

Today I’m sharing all the best green velvet sofa options I combed through in an effort to save you some time!

The Best Green Velvet Sofas

As it turns out, there are quite a few beautiful green sofas on the market, and deciding on one proved to be a little challenging. First, we needed to figure out what shade of green we wanted. There are quite a few deep green velvet couches, but I didn’t fall in love with them for my space.

We wound up purchasing the 3-seater Sven Grass Green Sofa from Article (I will do a full review eventually!), because we kept coming back to it time and time again, no matter how many we looked at. The total cost with delivery was around $1600.

It’s worth noting that there are some absolutely stunning velvet couches on the market, but many of them cost well above $3,000. To be honest, we didn’t have that type of money to invest at the moment, so while there are many, many couches online that fall into “best velvet couches”, the ones I’m sharing are all $2,000 or below.
