Are you curious what’s so special about the internet viral Crumbl Cookies? My Crumbl Cookies review is for you!
Before we moved to DC, I was extremely curious about Crumbl Cookies. The cookie brand seemed to go viral overnight on TikTok and I wanted to know what was so special about these pink boxed-cookies. One of our first Crumbl trips happened shortly after we arrived on the east coast and it’s been a love affair ever since. If you’re curious about Crumbl, Crumbl flavors, or what the heck makes these cookies so cool, my Crumbl Cookies review is for you.
Ultimate Crumbl Cookies Review
Crumbl Pink Sugar Cookie
First I need to disclose that Pink Sugar Cookie was the first Crumbl flavor I tried, because people raved about it. They were all right. The perfect icing to cookie ratio, soft cookie texture, and a slight almond flavoring in the icing. It used to be a weekly staple along with chocolate chip, but they took it away. DEVASTATING. A lot of people had a lot of feelings when they made the announcement and the brand even held a funeral for the beloved pink cookie.
Crumbl Cookies Weekly Menu
Birthday Cake – Listen, if you cannot get Pink Sugar, Pink Birthday Cake is a good second choice. It’s got all the delicious flavorings of an actual birthday cake, except in a cookie.
Milk Chocolate Chip Cookies – They’re great, but very “vanilla” in the grand scheme of Crumbl Cookie flavors if I’m being honest. But if chocolate chip cookies are your thing, they are a must-try, if for no other reason than they are chewy and soft.
Double Chocolate – This is a lot of chocolate and I was having a week, so it felt right. That said, it’s more or less a chocolate chip cookie in chocolate cookie batter, so you need to know what you’re getting into with all of that chocolate.
Fall Flavor Crumbl Cookies
Carrot Cake – I’m pretty sure the Crumbl Carrot Cake Cookie is one of the top cookies I’ve ever eaten. The frosting to cookie ratio was just…beyond.
Apple Pie – This is very much not a cookie and more like a pie. There is also no whipped cream?! But it’s still a very good treat, just not a cookie (in my opinion).
S’mores – The S’mores cookie is very good (and sticky. Very sticky) but tastes exactly as you’d imagine a s’more to taste – graham, chocolate, and marshmallow!
Crumbl Cookies for St. Patrick’s Day
Lucky Coin Sugar Cookie – These were just like Pink Sugar, except white and with a little gold coin in the middle. No need to split hairs Crumbl, just give the people what they want!
Mint Brownie – Have you ever had an Andes mint? That’s EXACTLY what these taste like. To be fair, I would have preferred a more neutral cookie base (it’s really chocolate-y), but it’s very tasty.
Chocolate Peanut Butter – This was better than I expected, but it’s, as you can see, very chocolate forward. I need more peanut butter in my life!
Crumbl Cookie Flavors
Listen, if Pink Sugar is on the menu, I think you can probably surmise by now that you need to stock up…
Waffle – I did not want to love this one, because frankly it sounds bizarre, but wow – if waffle is on the menu you need to get it. It tastes like a chewy waffle cone with a sweet buttercream (maybe?) frosting.
I have to be honest, I do not recall what the berry cookie flavor is from this batch, but it’s not cheesecake. The icing was more of a whipped butter, perhaps berry pancakes? I can’t remember, but I didn’t love it.
Cheesecake – This week, this is the flavor I was most excited to try and while I did like it, Waffle and Pink Sugar cookie totally beat it out. Rude, right? It tastes exactly like you might expect a cheesecake cookie to taste, but I didn’t feel like it was overly special.
Banana Cream Pie – This is a cookie I would NEVER pick on my own, but then I ate Dane’s. Whoops! As it turns out Crumbl Banana Cream Pie is like a mini pie cookie with the ideal amount of sweet and creamy. Absolutely a winner!
Oreo Cookie – This one, not surprisingly, tastes like a giant Oreo. What’s not to love? A giant, soft, Oreo, with delicious creamy frosting.
Valentine’s Day White Chocolate Chip – Meh. This was fine. It was a milk and white chocolate chip cookie.
Crumbl Cookie Review
Clearly the Pink Sugar Cookie was having a *moment* in this order. Can you blame me?
Blueberry Muffin – The Blueberry Muffin cookie is shockingly delicious, and this is coming from someone who sits firmly in the “fruit is not dessert” camp. There are no huge blueberry chunks, which made this a winner for me.
Oreo Birthday Cake – The Oreo birthday cookie is not super chocolate-y (as it appears), but the icing is so, so, so sweet. SO SWEET. I loved it in very small servings.
Snickerdoodle – I was not prepared to love the Snickerdoodle cookie as much as I do. It’s undercooked in the center, but with a crisp exterior that just makes it so good.
Hazelnut Sea Salt – I’ll be honest, these sucked me in with the promise of salted frosting, but they are not my favorite. I liked them best dunked in coffee, but even then, would probably pass.
Crumbl Cereal Cookies
Cinnamon Toast Crunch – Tastes exactly like cereal, sort of like a snickerdoodle, but the icing is just *chef’s kiss*
Cornflake Cookie – The Cornflake “cookie” is actually not a cookie and if I could read I would have known this before I ordered it. It’s sort of like a cornflake “Rice Krispie” with peanut butter drizzle. It’s very good, but it’s not a cookie.
Reese’s – This cookie is extremely chocolate-y (think Death by Chocolate level), but the peanut butter icing is out of this world.
Fruity Pebbles – The Fruity Pebbles cookie is very moist and tastes exactly like the cereal, but I have to be honest, it needs a frosting, not a glaze.
Crumbl Weekly Menu
Blueberry Cheesecake – I am so-so on this one and I think it’s because I LOVE cheesecake, but the blueberry glaze was overkill for me. If you love blueberries (lukewarm for me) you will adore this.
Honey Bun – I had high hopes of this tasting like a donut, I don’t know why? It doesn’t, but is equally good! The glaze is really sweet, like a donut, but the cookie is cinnamon flavor!
Cookie Butter – I was so excited for the icing on this one, that I wasn’t expecting to be equally delighted by the cookie itself. Like a true Crumbl, it was a soft cookie (almost sugar cookie-ish) but tasted like Cookie Butter!
Galaxy Brownie – Did you ever have those pre-packaged brownies in your lunchbox as a kid? Super cakey and rich, this Galaxy Brownie cookie tastes exactly like your childhood.
If you haven’t noticed, we are a little bit of super fans. Worth noting, Crumbl has no idea who I am and has not endorsed or sponsored this post (or any of my orders), but if you are reading, HI HELLO WE LOVE YOU! In even better news, they just opened a location in Hawaii so even when we move back, I can get my fix.
