Looking for the best Trader Joe’s summer products? Today I’m sharing all the items I bought and loved this month from Trader Joe’s!
One of the most exciting parts about being on the mainland is the accessibility to stores we didn’t have in Hawaii. One of them is Trader Joe’s! It’s definitely a sign of me getting older, but I love a good grocery store. One of my favorite things to do has become finding the best Trader Joe’s products on each of my visits and today I’m sharing summer favorites.
Trader Joe’s Summer Products I Bought
Strawberry Lemon Sugar Scrub – I love this and I can already tell it’s something I want to stock up on before I go back to Hawaii. Here’s why – it’s a thick sugar scrub that really scrubs you. It’s not super scented (IMO), but the thick grain sugar really removes any dead skin and works great with mineral sunscreen.
Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups – Admittedly, these were in a care package from a friend of mine, so while I didn’t pick them out myself, WOW — they are so good and I would definitely buy them again. Gives Reese’s a true run!
Bambas – These were another great snack item gifted to me in a care package and they are delightful, light peanut butter puffs. I love how they taste, but I wound up getting very sick after eating them so for me personally, they probably won’t be purchased again. That said, had I not had they, I would definitely buy again. I think they would be good crumbled on top of ice cream.
Ube Mochi – Maybe I am spoiled after having mochi in Hawaii or maybe I’m just not a great mochi cook. Either way, this was a pass for me.
In A Pickle Seasoning – Much like the other Trader Joe’s seasonings, I cannot explain why or how this is so good. My advice: Put on popcorn, roasted sweet potatoes, or roasted carrots.
Pancake Bread – Buyer beware, you’ll need two, especially if you have anyone in your house with a sweet tooth. I recommend making your own cream cheese icing for the top, because why not?
Strawberry Basil Vinaigrette – If you like sweeter salad dressings, this is for you! I think it would also be really good on a cheese board as a side dip to accompany hard cheese.
Truffle Aioli – I feel like Trader Joe’s always brings out yummy truffle products in the summer months. Have you had the truffle ketchup? Whoa, so good. Anyway, this truffle aioli is no exception. Definitely a winner on burgers and chicken.
Sweet Corn, Burrata, and Basil Ravioli – Now, this is super delicious on its own (stock up, it often sells out, from what I’m told), but my mom prepped it on a bed of arugula and parmesan and wow – it was sort of like a ravioli salad. It was divine!
