Zenni Optical Review: One Year Later

Considering a pair of glasses from Zenni Optical? I’m share my full Zenni Optical review after owning my glasses for a year.

Last April, I discovered Zenni Optical. As a lifelong glasses wearer, I’m always on the hunt for affordable pairs. Of course, I was a little bit skeptical about Zenni, because their prices are so good and exactly what I wanted. It seemed too good to be true. At the time I purchased two pairs and one year later, I’m excited to share how they’ve held up in a full Zenni Optical review.

Zenni Optical Review: One Year Later

In my initial Zenni Optical order, I purchased  these neon pink frames and this tortoiseshell pair. Combined, both pairs were a little over $50 with shipping. When I first received my order, I was initially really impressed with the quality, but remained skeptical with how well they would hold up.

I am happy to report that not only have both pairs held up, the tortoise shell pair is one I reach for nearly every single day. It never fails that every time I wear the tortoise pair, someone asks where I got them and I’m proud to say Zenni, because I know I’m not recommending something that is completely out of the budget.

Cute glasses shouldn’t have to break the bank! But even better than being cute, they have maintained screw tightness, have not broken, and not lenses have popped out. These were all things I was afraid of when I ordered initially. It’s worth noting that I don’t have an easy prescription, either, so to be able to buy glasses online that aren’t hundreds of dollars, and ship quickly, is a gift!

When I saw earlier this year that Zenni was doing an Iris Apfel collaboration, I immediately ordered the Pussycat style. They are anything but boring, but true to Zenni style, they are very high quality. I got the Tiger’s Eye color and I love them. 

Each pair of glasses you order from Zenni comes with its own case and cleaning cloth. 

So, would I order from Zenni again? Obviously 100% yes….and I have! I think their selection is wide enough to please a variety of tastes, their shipping time is fast, and quality does not match price…it’s way better. And just so we are all on the same page, the kind people over at Zenni have absolutely no idea who I am 🙂
