5 Things I Love Friday

Happy 2023! Did everyone have a good holiday? We spent Christmas with my parents and sister and then headed back to DC for the new year. I have to say – the week between Christmas and New Year’s has become my favorite as I’ve gotten older. I know there are a lot of memes about not knowing what day it is or what you’re supposed to be doing, but…I kind of love it. In any case, one of my goals was to show up here more often in 2023, so HERE I AM! Let’s dive right in…

5 Things I Love Friday

I wore my favorite black turtleneck on Christmas Eve and I would recommend it over and over. It’s comfortable, washes well, keeps the structure and can be dressed up or down. The terry fleece is key!

My friend Chelsea had her home featured in Better Homes + Gardens Magazine in December and I’m just so proud of her! Right before the new year, I made the best salad I’ve ever eaten…and trust me I don’t take that title lightly. We are very serious about salads in this and Dane agreed, it’s SO good.
