Considering a pair of Lululemon Align Leggings? Or maybe an Align bra? If you’ve been hearing about the Lululemon Align collection, today’s post is for you.
If there is one thing that has a cult-like following, it’s Lululemon Align leggings. Listen, I love them as much as the next person, and if you’re a fan of the buttery soft fabric (sorry, I had to), you might be pretty excited to know that the athleisure brand actually carries an entire line of Align products. If this is news to you, today’s post may get pretty expensive. Here are my favorite Lululemon Align products and what I think is worth the spend.
My Favorite Lululemon Align Products
Align Leggings
I’ve said it before, but it’s worth repeating that I think Lululemon Align leggings are some of the best on the market, because 1. They last. 2. The material feels weightless. 3. They do not stink or pill. 4. The dark colors pass the squat test. 5. They offer free alterations.
I will be honest and say that I love the Super High Rise varietal of the Align leggings. They come in a cropped style, as well as a full-length style. I have both and typically find myself running more in the cropped style, but opting for the full-length style for normal wear, or when it’s very cold outside. For reference, I wear a size 4.
Align Bike Shorts
Let me be the first to say that when biker shorts first started debuting as fashionable, I scoffed. While I still don’t think they’re much of a fashion statement, they are my favorite things to workout in and throw on in the summer months. I’m a big fan of the 10″ style and have 3 pairs (black is my favorite!). They’re super high rise, which keeps everything “tucked in” and creates a seamless appearance. They also come in an assortment of other lengths and styles…including some with pockets!
Like the leggings, the fabric is so soft and does not pill. My thighs touch and given how much I’m moving and they are rubbing together, it’s prime circumstances for pilling – but they don’t – and I’ve washed them at least 100x without seams ripping or the material losing grip. I wear a size 4.
Align Tank Top
Aside from the leggings, the Align Tank Top might be the most viral Align product that Lululemon makes. If you are on Instagram, you’ve probably seen it and if you’re like me…as soon as you see a lot of people buying something, you get wary. I’ll admit, this one is worth the hype. And unlike the name suggests, this feels more like a bra thank a regular tank top.
One thing to know is that I am a B-cup, so I cannot vouch for the fit of this for larger chests. I don’t routinely take photos wearing a bra, so this selfie straight from the treadmill will have to do…
What I will say is that the compression is great for workouts without giving me a headache (which sometimes happen with sports bras), the fabric is as soft as the leggings/shorts and probably my favorite part of all is the longline style. I can wear these tops with a pair of high rise leggings and look like I have a onesie on – I kind of love that, LOL! Additionally, these comfy tops can also be worn day-to-day under regular shirts and tees. I wear a size 4 for more compression, or 6 for a more casual style. My mom loves these, too!
I want to acknowledge here that Lululemon is not cheap. I look at each piece I buy as an investment, because I know it’s going to last. It’s also worth noting that Lulu offers a military discount, as well as a fitness pro discount, so it helps when in investing in pieces if either of those categories apply to you. I also want to add that so many people have shared Lululemon “dupes” with me, but in my experience, they just don’t hold up.
If you have been on the fence about treating yourself to something from Lululemon’s Align collection, I think it’s worth the spend.
