If you’ve followed me for any amount of time, you know that Christmas cards are my jam. I love them so much and start planning them…oh in about June, LOL! This year was different for a lot of reasons and I kept dragging my feet on ordering them for a reason I couldn’t really pinpoint. Bill died on October 30 and it all became clear. I think subconsciously I was afraid to be too celebratory in our end-of-year wishes, but the reality is that 90% of our year was so much joy. SO MUCH. And that would be reflected in our card no matter what.
I ordered from Paper Culture this year in the fog after Bill died and somehow managed to make our cards teeny tiny and also not order enough. I have no idea what happened and by the time I realized I didn’t have enough, I had mentally thrown the towel in on fixing it and just made a promise to try and do better next year. C’est la vie.
I’ve documented our cards over the years and you can see them all — kind of like a slideshow of our life — right here 2013 | 2014 | 2015 | 2016 | 2017 | 2018 | 2019 | 2020 | 2021 | 2022
Without further ado…our 2023 Christmas card. Merry Everything from the Hanson family!
