My Honest Lake Pajamas Review

On the fence about splurging on a pair of LAKE Pajamas? Here is my honest LAKE Pajamas review after getting my first pair.

There’s something truly special about slipping into a pair of comfortable pajamas (that match) at the end of a long day. I can’t really explain it, but when my pajamas match, I feel like I have my life together. I’ve been seeing a lot of influencers share their love of LAKE Pajamas, so I decided to give them a whirl. For my first pair, I ordered the Long Long Weekend Set in green (it looks like it may have been a seasonal special) and I’ve been wearing them ever since. Today I wanted to share my honest thoughts, including if they’re worth the spend.

My Honest Lake Pajamas Review

LAKE Pajamas is a brand known for its comfortable and stylish sleepwear. They offer a range of pajama sets made from high-quality materials, including Pima cotton. Pima cotton is a soft and durable fabric known for its breathability, making it ideal for sleepwear. LAKE Pajamas are designed with simplicity and comfort in mind, often featuring classic cuts and timeless patterns. The brand has gained popularity for its commitment to providing cozy and chic sleepwear options, appealing to those who prioritize both style and relaxation in their loungewear and bedtime attire.

LAKE Style and Fit

One of the standout features of LAKE Pajamas is their commitment to providing a tailored fit for every body type. Whether you prefer a loose, relaxed fit or a more fitted silhouette, there’s a style for everyone. I chose the Pima Long Long Weekend Set as my first pair, which is a long sleeved top and long bottoms. I ordered a size medium, because 1. I don’t want anything super tight while sleeping and 2. I think they get a bit smaller after washing (even without drying). More on that later!

LAKE Pima Cotton Pajamas

The brand primarily uses Pima cotton, renowned for its exceptional softness and durability. The breathable nature of Pima cotton makes LAKE Pajamas perfect for year-round wear, ensuring a cool and comfortable night’s sleep. I figured that even in summer months or warmer climates, I could still enjoy my set.

For those who prefer a bit more warmth, the brushed cotton options are ideal. These pajamas provide the same luxurious feel but with a slightly cozier touch, making them perfect for chilly evenings.

Washing and Care

One of the concerns many have with high-quality sleepwear is the fear of intricate care routines and I am part of that population of people with concerns. I don’t have time for anything fancy and don’t even talk to me about dry cleaning. That’s gonna be a no. LAKE Pajamas have proven to be incredibly easy to care for. The Pima cotton sets are machine washable, maintaining their softness and color vibrancy even after multiple washes. I will say that based on other reviews I read, I didn’t put them in the dryer and I think that’s the smartest route. After washing I think the washing itself makes them a little bit smaller.

Price Points

Admittedly, LAKE Pajamas fall into the higher price range for sleepwear. The cost varies depending on the style and fabric chosen. The classic long long set that I got was $124, while the short sets are priced slightly lower. For many, these pajamas are definitely under the “investment” category and for that reason – I just have one pair I was A LOT. The below photo was taken from a video I was taking but you can see how well it fits, just slightly oversized prior to washing.

Are LAKE Pajamas Worth the Cost?

In my experience, LAKE Pajamas are undoubtedly worth the investment. The combination of quality material and comfortable design makes them a staple in my sleepwear collection. The versatility of the pajamas, suitable for year-round wear, adds to their overall value. While the initial cost may seem steep, the long-term durability and luxurious comfort justify the price in my mind. I think they would also make an excellent gift for a friend, new mom, co-worker, mom/sister….and the list goes on. The one and only fault I find in these pajamas is the sewn-in tag. Why of why in the year 2024 are we still sewing in tags?! I was able to easily remove mine using nail scissors and a bit of caution. That said, if you’re in the market for sleepwear that blends style and comfort seamlessly, LAKE Pajamas are a must-try.
