Considering a pair of Anthropologie Colette Pants? I’m sharing my honest thoughts on the pants, including if they’re worth the cost, sizing, and fit.
If you’ve spent any amount of time on social media lately, you are familiar with the Anthropologie Colette pants. While I’ve worn them for more than a year, it seems like their popularity has absolutely surged recently, because it’s all I was seeing online starting last fall. With spring around the corner (and new colors of the pants out in stores), I am seeing them pop up all over both online and out in the wild. If you’ve been debating adding a pair to your closet, I’m sharing my honest thoughts on the pants, including if they’re worth the cost, sizing, and fit.
My Honest Anthropologie Colette Pants Review
Maybe you don’t use social media or maybe you do and you’re like….wait, what the heck is she talking about?! I’ve never even heard of these pants. I’ve got you covered.
What are the Colette Pants?
Anthropologie’s Colette Pants are a versatile piece of clothing that blend style and comfort. These pants feature a classic wide-leg silhouette with a slightly cropped length, making them perfect for any occasion, whether it’s a casual outing or a formal event. They come in a variety of fabrics from lightweight (linen blends) to heavy (corduroy), including light and dark denim. The pants come in a range of colors and patterns, allowing you to choose the perfect pair to complement your personal style.
Fit
In terms of fit, I was pleasantly surprised by how flattering these pants are. The high-waisted design elongates the legs, while the wide-leg cut provides a polished look without feeling restrictive. In my opinion the pants run large and I also think that some of the fabrics they come in stretch out, so I do recommend trying these on if you can before buying. For reference, I am 125 pounds and wear a size 25.
Price Point
Anthropologie is known for its slightly higher price point, and these pants are no exception. They range in price from $120 to $130 depending on fabric, so they definitely fall into the investment section of a wardrobe.
Pros
Versatility: Whether paired with a shirt and heels for a night out or dressed down with a tucked-in tee and sneakers for a casual weekend ensemble, the Colette Pants effortlessly transition from day to night.
Comfort: Despite their tailored appearance, these pants are incredibly comfortable to wear, thanks to the soft and lightweight fabric that allows for ease of movement.
Flattering Fit: The high-waisted silhouette and wider-leg cut flatter a variety of body shapes. I have truly never seen these pants look bad on anyone who has tried them!
Cons
Sizing: I think the sizing runs slightly large, so it’s worth considering sizing down for a more tailored fit.
Care Instructions: While the pants are machine washable, I would recommend air-drying them to preserve their shape and longevity.
Are Anthropologie’s Colette Pants Worth The Price?
In my opinion…YES! Anthropologie’s Colette Pants are a must-have addition to any wardrobe. With their timeless style, comfortable fit, and versatile design, these pants are sure to become a staple piece that you’ll reach for time and time again. I have two pairs (both denim) and they are some of the most worn pieces in my closet. I believe the quality and craftsmanship of the Colette Pants justify the cost.
