And let me be the first to tell you – I’m not usually a believer in at-home masks. Like everyone else, I’ve purchased them from the store or gotten them as a gift and tested them out, only to be like…this was…fine? But then I met Epicutis and let me just say…my life has changed. If you’re looking for a face mask that will change your life (and I don’t use that phrase loosely!), today’s post is for you.

What Is It? The Epicutis Lipid Recovery Mask is a luxurious skincare treatment designed to nourish and repair the skin’s barrier, delivering deep hydration and rejuvenation. This mask is ideal for those dealing with dry, sensitive, or compromised skin, providing a soothing and restorative experience. I was given the mask after a chemical peel to hydrate and nourish the new skin that was growing.

Epicutis Lipid Recovery Mask Ingredients

There are only 10 ingredients in the mask (listed out fully on their website), but the key ingredients in the Epicutis Lipid Recovery Mask include:

Biocellulose: Instantly reduces appearance of redness and irritation

Hyaluronic Acid: A gigantic boost to your skin’s moisture level

Novel molecule TSC: Locks in hydration and calms inflammation

It also claims to: Improve skin texture and resilience, leaving it feeling supple and healthy, and provide a calming effect, ideal for post-treatment care or after exposure to harsh environmental conditions.

Cost

The price of the Epicutis Lipid Recovery Mask is $20 at Aiyana Atelier (you can sort their products by brand to buy online), which is where I discovered it for the first time. As with other luxury skincare products, prices may vary depending on the retailer. It looks like the brand sells them on their website in a pack of 5.

How to Use

Worth mentioning, I always use my mask at night before bed, so the following steps are how I use it and incorporate it into my nighttime routine.

Cleanse: Start with a clean face. Remove any makeup, dirt, or impurities with a gentle cleanser.

Apply: Take the mask out of the pouch and remove the blue backing. Apply the mask to your face, being sure to smooth out all the wrinkles and lines so that you are getting the biggest bang for your buck!

Relax: Allow the mask to sit on your skin for about 25 minutes. This gives the ingredients time to penetrate and work their magic.

Remove Mask: When you’re finished, remove the mask and I guarantee you will see a noticeable glow. I don’t apply any products after using the mask to allow Epicutis’ active ingredients to soak in overnight.

Frequency: I use the mask once per month, or after any type of chemical peel or laser treatment.

My Experience Using The Epicutis Lipid Mask

I found the Epicutis Lipid Recovery Mask to be a true game-changer for my skin. After just one use, my skin felt noticeably softer, and the dry patches I’d been struggling with were significantly reduced. The mask has a rich, jelly texture that feels incredibly soothing as you apply it. The longer you leave it on, you can practically feel the lipids soaking into your skin.

Is The Epicutis Lipid Recovery Mask Worth It?

Bottom line: The Epicutis Lipid Recovery Mask is a must-have for anyone dealing with dry, irritated, or compromised skin. Its powerful blend of lipids and nourishing ingredients makes it an excellent choice for restoring and maintaining healthy, glowing skin. While the price is on the higher side for a single mask, the results it delivers make it well worth the investment, especially if your skin needs that extra TLC, and you can use the leftover serum in the pouch for almost a week after using the mask. I’ve never had a mask give my skin the glow I get from Epicutis and it’s well worth it in my opinion.
