I Ordered From Balzac Paris Every Month For 6 Months

Fashion · July 13, 2026 · Leave a Comment

I wanted to share my honest Balzac Paris clothing review, so I ordered a new item from their site every month for 6 months. Today I’m sharing my honest thoughts and if Balzac Paris is worth the spend.

When I first discovered Balzac Paris, it was because I kept getting served ads on social media for the iconic leopard cardigan. I’m sure you’ve seen it if your algorithm is anything like mine. I was also getting a lot of ads for the ruffle-neck button-down shirt. I was intrigued by the brand’s effortless French aesthetic. Think: timeless silhouettes, feminine details, and pieces that felt elevated without being overly trendy. It reminded me a lot of Sezane, if I’m being honest, and both brands are B-corps, which I also really love.

So, I decided to give the brand a try and ordered the cardigan, and to no surprise – I LOVED it. My algorithm is nothing if not spot on about what it thinks I will like, LOL! But was it a fluke? So I  ordered a shirt. Then I ordered shorts. You see where this is going. I ordered at least one piece from Balzac Paris every month for six months to put a wide array of seasonal clothing items to the test, and I’m sharing all the details from the quality and fit to how often I actually reached for each item in my wardrobe.

Here’s everything I bought, what I loved, what surprised me, and whether I think Balzac Paris is worth adding to your closet.

Balzac Paris Clothing Review

January – Idole Cardigan

This was my first purchase and I obviously fell in love with the brand. I wrote an entire blog post on how much I love this surprisingly versatile cardigan! If you order one thing, I cannot recommend the Idole Cardigan enough!

February – Ulysse Blue Stripe Shirt

The Ulysse Blue Stripe Shirt was one of those pieces I knew I would get a lot of use out of right away. It’s comfortable, versatile, and has that polished-but-easy feel that makes a button-down a closet staple. I love mine so much, I convinced my mom to order the same one. As expected, she loves hers, too. The quality and fit are unmatched!

March – Magic Necklace & Bromeliad Chain

Balzac Paris Jewelry

In March, I decided to try some of Balzac Paris’ accessories with the Magic Necklace and Bromeliad Chain. I loved how both pieces added a little something extra to my outfits without feeling like they were too much. They’re perfect for layering (a look I personally love) and I have not had any issues with tarnishing.

April – Iza Top

This top caught my eye as something I could layer in colder months or wear on its own in the warmer months. Admittedly, I haven’t worn it yet, even though I have styled it multiple times with items in my closet. Not because I haven’t wanted to, but solely because it’s so well made with thick, quality denim and it has been HOT. It’s on my to-do list to wear, because it’s SO cute.

May – Simon Leopard Shorts

Balzac Paris Clothing Review - Leopard Shorts

What is not to love about leopard? I saw these shorts and immediately added them to my cart. I hadn’t purchased any bottoms from Balzac yet, so I was a little intimidated by sizing. I would say that they run a bit small, so if you are on the fence, take notice of the sizing details on each item (it’s listed near the price) and when in doubt, size up. I wasn’t sure how often I would reach for a bold print, but I ended up loving how easy they were to style and how much personality they added to an outfit. I’ve worn them more than 5 times in just two months. Leopard is a neutral, IMO.

June – Paco Crochet Shorts

The Paco Crochet Shorts might be one of my favorite purchases from Balzac Paris so far – second only to the blue and white stripe button down shirt! These shorts have that effortless vacation feel, and I love that they make a simple tank top or tee feel like a complete outfit. I have dressed them down for the beach and up for a Fourth of July picnic – and they were perfect for  both. They wash amazingly well, too.

Is Balzac Paris Clothing Worth It?

After shopping with Balzac Paris consistently for six months, I can confidently say yes, I think it’s worth it. Every piece I’ve ordered, from clothing to jewelry, has impressed me with its quality and durability (it all washes well!). While the prices are definitely an investment, the materials and craftsmanship have made each purchase feel worthwhile. Instead of buying trendy pieces that only last a season, I’ve found myself building a wardrobe of items I genuinely love and continue to reach for again and again that I know will last over the long haul.
