Considering a pair of New Balance 327s? After seeing them everywhere online I snagged a pair + here is my honest Womens New Balance 327 review.
I think it may have been last summer that I started to look around and it seemed like everyone was wearing the same sneaker – the New Balance 327. While a lot of people I saw were wearing the classic white sneaker with navy or black details, as fall approached, I began noticing more colors. Naturally, when I see more colors I’m drawn to them like a moth to a flame. I love my Nike Waffle Debut sneakers and I found myself reaching for them every single time I left the house, so I figured…let me try adding another pair of sneakers to my rotation. I order the women’s New Balance 327s in navy and coral.
My Honest Review of Women’s New Balance 327 Sneakers
Like the Waffle Debut from Nike, the New Balance 327 is not just any sneaker; it’s an icon reborn. The 327 collection draws inspiration from the brand’s archival designs of the 1970s. It seamlessly blends retro aesthetics with modern sensibilities, resulting in a silhouette that’s as timeless as it is trendy.
Why Is New Balance 327 So Popular?
Everything old is new again…or something like that. In my opinion these sneakers are the perfect blend of nostalgia and modernity. Its versatility allows for endless styling possibilities, whether you’re pairing it with denim jeans and a graphic tee or a more athleisure-inspired look.
One of the standout features of the 327 is its sleek and sporty silhouette, characterized by an oversized N logo on the side. The combination of suede overlays and nylon underlays adds depth and texture, making these kicks a visual treat for sneaker aficionados. Whether you opt for the classic colorways or the bold, eye-catching iterations, the 327 effortlessly elevates any outfit, be it casual or athleisure-inspired.
Should I Size Up or Down In New Balance 327?
The New Balance 327 runs true to size for most wearers, offering a comfortable and snug fit that’s perfect for all-day wear. If you want a tad more room, I’d suggest going up half a size. The cushioned midsole provides ample support and cushioning, ensuring your feet stay happy even during long hours of wear. It’s a safe bet that the 327 has got you covered in both style and comfort departments, but I will say that I don’t find them to be a sneaker I would do a workout in. Maaaaaybe in a pinch if I was traveling and had only these packed and really needed to get a run in, but it’s not something I would reach into my closet for specifically for working out.
These are fantastic walking sneakers and pair nicely with athletic wear or actual clothes, but one word of warning regarding fit: They have high backs on the ankles that take some getting used to. If you are prone to blisters, wear some moleskin the first couple times you wear these.
While the New Balance 327 may not be the most budget-friendly option out there (around $100), they aren’t the most expensive either. In my opinion, the quality and durability is there to match the price.
