Short weeks are the longest weeks

Does anyone else feel like when you have a short week thanks to a Monday holiday, those weeks seem to go the slowest?

 Maddie thinks so.

Maybe it’s just me and the amount of personal craziness I seemed to encounter this week.

But because it’s Friday and Fridays are meant for fun…at least in my book. If Friday’s aren’t fun in your book–remind me to never visit your library.

Asking a good friend of mine to speak in our wedding and I thought this was the perfect card, no? Has anyone else ever been to the store Franchesca’s Collections? It’s a little overpriced and the majority of their dresses just barely drape my behind, but I think their accessories and shirts are pretty cute. Imagine my surprise when I was poking around for some new jewels and found this card. I think Franchesca’s is the new black in terms of one-stop-shopping.

What in the hell is up with this? We’ve just cleared Christmas and this aisle cap was nestled between a Valentine’s display and blow-up Leprechaun. What in the WHAT. I can’t…I just can’t. Sorry, Target. There will be none of this.

And just to round things off I decided to use a tan towel wipe I had gotten as a sample from Sephora. HAYYYY FREE THINGS. Note to self: Never use at-home tanning products they’re giving away for free. My face looks like a clementine and just in time for the weekend–perfect. Awkward face caressing just so you fine people could see the color comparison. You’re welcome.
