Dane was originally supposed to have off today, but alas he is at work and my otherwise scheduled fun day is now ripped to shreds. Love you, Army. Smooches forever.
Our weekend was the best possible combination of fun and relaxing. It was filled with street s’mores, watermelon basil lemonade, watching Patch Adams (be still my inspired heart) and having a happy hour with some friends who are leaving the island.
Let’s start with Friday, Dane and I met up with two of the most fun people we have met here in Hawaii at our favorite nighttime spot–Buho Cocina y Cantina! For all my local friends–their drinks cannot be beat!!
Saturday we enjoyed those street s’mores I told you about earlier–YUM! Followed closely by more episodes of House of Cards (this season sucks) and watching Patch Adams for my first time ever. I bawled my eyes out, if you were wondering.
Some ALOHA Lemonade, beach time and a Sunday Funday happy hour rounded out our weekend!
