Whew! I’m exhausted just recapping this trip! If you missed our stops in New England and Martha’s Vineyard be sure to start with part one and part two.
We knew our time in Harrisburg with my parents before heading to Philadelphia for my sister’s wedding would be limited, so we jammed in as much as we absolutely could – a dentist appointment for me (love my dentist, will never give him up), some shopping and a whole lot of eating – asparagus risotto, mini pies, fresh fruit and more!
I wanted SO BADLY for this one piece from Athleta to work out – sadly, it just wasn’t happening 🙁
My parent’s neighborhood is gorgeous and I took full advantage of the cooler temps to get in a good run!
I also got to spend some quality time with my grandma and teach her a little bit about Snapchat, which made all of us laugh out loud!
Friday it was time to head to Philadelphia for my sister’s wedding! They held their rehearsal dinner at Llama Tooth and the food was really good, but the company was better. My dad and Dane wore very similar outfits which made us all laugh, because the following day they also (completely unplanned) wore very similar outfits, too! Okay well, maybe Dane wasn’t laughing 😉
Saturday it was wedding time! My sister had a very relaxed and casual wedding, so there wasn’t too much daytime fuss. We explored Reading Terminal Market (and ate lots of delicious food), before heading over to the MAAS building for their ceremony and reception.
My sister and Andy (her new hubby) had a super intimate ceremony and reception and everything about it was so them, with very few conventional details. I loved it so much and am so excited for them to begin their life together. Though technically speaking they have been together for quite some time 😉 They had a cell phone free wedding, so all of these are pre-wedding shots I scored while we were getting family photos done. The entire day was magical and I’m honestly pretty glad I put my phone away to enjoy every single moment with her and our family!
Dress is sold out! Similar here and here.
This colorful affair under the stars was the best possible way to end our whirlwind trip back “home”. We had such an amazing time and are already planning our next vacation – because why not?! 😉
