Looking to tackle Whole30, but only interested in vegetarian recipes? Here are 10 delicious vegetarian recipes that are Whole30 compliant, completely filling and full of flavor!
If you’ve been around here for awhile, you’ve probably realized that we don’t eat a ton of a meat (2024 update: This has changed and we now eat more meat in our diet, but we still incorporate every single one of these recipes because they are THAT good!). By that I mean, we eat a mostly pescetarian diet (wild salmon, local fish and shrimp only) and Dane will indulge in steak from time to time if he’s craving it. I get A LOT of questions about whether or not I’m vegetarian or vegan and the answer is no. In fact, I don’t really like to put a name on how we eat since it could change at any time and I wouldn’t want to offend anyone. That said, when we have done Whole30, pescetarian Whole30 recipes and vegetarian Whole30 recipes aren’t what folks typically follow. Fine by me! I am always game for hunting down a good Whole30 vegetarian recipe. Today, I wanted to share some of the best Whole30 vegetarian recipes if you’re in the market to try something new 🙂
10 Best Whole30 Vegetarian Recipes
First let me say that I think vegetarian (and definitely vegan) recipes get a bad rep for being “boring” or “tasteless” or “bland”. I think I probably felt this way before I dug deeper to cook it myself! If I’m being completely honest, I think vegetarian recipes are the complete opposite to be honest — they’re full of flavor. I also remember being intimidated by cooking vegetarian meals — would I be full? The answer is YES! All of the Whole30 vegetarian recipes I’m sharing today (courtesy of some of my FAVORITE blogs) are all full of flavor and completely filling.
