Celebrating National Beach Day with a collection of beach photos that prove sun, sand and salt air is truly the best.
Happy National Beach Day! While I can’t be sitting on one today (I wish), Beach Day is a good reminder of the places we love so much and the importance of keeping them clean, so we can enjoy them for years and years to come.
It might mean attending a beach clean up, picking up someone else’s trash during your visit or talking with friends and family about the importance of clean beaches for our ecosystems. You can even organize your own beach clean up.
Every year on August 30, you can celebrate the beautiful beaches are the world that you love. For me, it’s obviously Hawaii. To celebrate, I’m sharing some of my favorite Hawaii beach photos so that hopefully, even if you’re not at the shoreline, you can feel a little bit of warm air on your face 🙂

The photos in this collection were taken on the North Shore, South Shore, and east side of Oahu, Hawaii.
