What better way to start a new month than to talk about all the fun books I’m diving into right now, eh? Eh!
|^ So true! My mom always says that I begged her to teach me how to read!|
Now, let’s get down to October reading business!
For anyone who has been around these parts for a little while, I am a longtime lover of Liane Moriarty and I couldn’t wait to dive into “The Hypnotist’s Love Story”. So far — I love it! I’m only three chapters in, but I’ve got an instant devotion to books that draw me in from page one. I’ve also read What Alice Forgot, Big Little Lies and The Husband’s Secret. I’ve really enjoyed all of them, so if you’re looking for a good read — start with The Husband’s Secret!
My most recent Blogging for Books delivery was Apartment Therapy’s Complete Happy Home. Man, oh man, the photography and ideas wrapped into this delicious hardcover are BRILLIANT. I love browsing through it during creativity lulls and it’s the perfect addition to our coffee table book collection. I think, so far, my favorite idea from the pages of this mastermind is the idea of Style DNA. If you’re a creative like me, an interior designer, or just simply looking for a pop of beautiful in your life — pick this book up!
And last, but certainly not least, is the upcoming official release of my friend Caroline’s new book, All American Paleo Table. Yep, as in, she’s my real life, met-in-the-flesh-friend!
In just 5 short days, this beautiful cookbook will be hitting shelves nationwide, but I’ve gotten a couple sneak peeks and I can assure you — buy the damn thing! Caroline’s approach to eating delicious food through a modified paleo-based diet is simply incredible. Not only are her recipes easy to follow, the food you get in return tastes great (which is a lot more than I can say about other grain free and/or paleo recipes I’ve tried!).
What are you reading this month?
