I love a good post where I can find new reads, don’t you? I have three winners today, which almost never happens to me — so get excited!
Humans of New York | I really hope I’m not the only one out there who is obsessed with the Instagram feed @HumansOfNY. Actually, I know I’m not, because this is a book dedicated to it. My brother-in-law got me both HONY books for Christmas and I dove right in. It’s definitely a coffee table book, but I love that there is a wide spectrum of photos represented from the beautiful city of New York. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking to feel inspired.
Humans of New York Stories | This is the second book from Brandon Stanton and it goes a bit beyond the photos we see on the feed. It explores the people, their stories, their background and everything we all have wanted to know about the people behind the posts. I would recommend this book for anyone who is as curious as I am 🙂
It Was Me All Along | I got this book as part of my partnership with Blogging for Books and I devoured it right away. I originally picked it, because I follow Andie on Twitter and through her website. Her book is, without a doubt, phenomenal. I loved it. The raw, realness is more genuine than I’ve found in a book in a very long time. Andie struggled with her weight and self confidence her entire life and when she hit 300 pounds, she knew it was time to turn her life around. This memoir chronicles her journey to find balance and happiness in her life.
If you’re looking for a very quick read. I mean, super quick, I would recommend The GrownUp.
I read it in 45 minutes. Gillian Flynn is one of my absolute favorite authors, so I knew going into it what I might expect. Sick, twisted and to the point, The GrownUp is another thrilling winner!
What are you reading these days?
