Currently

It’s been a minute since I linked up with Anne for her monthly Currently series and I have no excuses as to why! I love, love, love this series and I think sometimes I just forget it’s happening until the day I see it go live. (face palm). So, today I’m joining her and some of the fabulous faces who frequent her internet space for this month’s Currently, which covers what I’m currently scheming, reading, buying, making and accomplishing. As a bonus…here are some beautiful acai bowls we got over the weekend from our favorite spot on the North Shore…so yummy!

Currently

Scheming – What travels we are going to take later this year. We have a few places on our list that we are considering, but are trying to narrow it down and get something booked. What is the best place you’ve traveled to in the fall or winter months? Let me know!

Reading – I picked up a stack of books for our trip (if you’re reading this, we’re currently en route!) and I started with “The Liar’s Wife”. It’s written by a British author, so some of the words I’m not used to seeing, but so far, I really like it. It’s a psychological thriller (my fave!) and I’ve got a few others packed once this is done.

Buying – ALL OF THE THINGS! Our travels are taking us to…drum roll, please…MOROCCO! So I plan to pick up quite a few home decor pieces at the various markets we will be visiting. Dane and I love picking up items on our travels that fit into our home style, so we are both equally excited and have packed minimally so we can maximize space on the way back for things like rugs and poufs (all the heart eye emojis!).

Making – I feel like I’ve made so many delicious recipes lately. This Spiced Chickpea Stew with Coconut and Tumeric from Alison Roman still ranks incredibly high! The blend of flavors and ease makes it a total winner for us, plus it’s really filling to boot.
