After a sad and scary moment in my hair’s life that involved a bottle of SUN-IN. Note to self: You were born brunette for a reason. End Story. But hey, my grandpa is looking pretty dapper. |
I digress.
Two things for this Monday that you all need to know.
1. If you remember this post, you know I’m a huge fan of whimsical prints. I like Etsy and I like supporting businesses that are aggregated through hard-work and love.
Enter: THIS PRINT.
Oh Mylanta, friends, I can’t even begin to tell you how much I love it. We’re talking head over heels.
Shar and Sarah are the owners and operators of My Place In The World, an Etsy shop that offers unique prints for your home (or office, or store!) that capture the stories that matter most in your life.
Maps are available for every state in the USA, province in Canada, all countries of the world and major cities.
When I’m buying things for myself giving gifts, I love the ability to customize and personalize for the recipient. This shop is perfect for that and I love that there were tons of colors to choose from.
It is the perfect addition to our house and matches our bedroom color scheme perfectly. #winwin
If you’re in the market for something fun, go ahead and ch-ch-check ’em out!
2. This happened.
No, not just any Top Ten Editor’s Pick. The Food & Wine, May 2013 edition that features my really, really good friends–Caputo Brothers Creamery. If you happen to follow me on Twitter, you know that I am a cheese-tweeting addict (sometimes), but this company is so near and dear to my heart. I couldn’t think of anyone more deserving. And seriously, their cheese is phenomenal. I wrote about it before here. LOVE THEM!
Obviously I wasn’t kidding when I said I love companies built on hard work and love.
So, your assignment for Monday is to go get your self some cheese and a print and you’ll be all set for Tuesday 🙂 Just kidding, kind of…
Happy 4-days-til-Friday!
