Trader Joe’s Products I Bought – May 2023

Looking for the best Trader Joe’s products before you head to the store this month? Here’s what I’m loving from everyone’s specialty grocer for May 2023!

Did I ever think I would be blogging about a grocery store? No. Did I ever think I would look forward to going to a grocery store every month? Also no. But here we are and it’s time for another round-up of my favorite Trader Joe’s products! This month I’ve got some real winners, so buckle in for my favorites.

Trader Joe’s Products I Bought – May 2023

Trader Joe’s Facial Sunscreen – Everyone on the internet claims this is a SuperGoop dupe and…they are right. I love the texture of this “unseen” sunscreen and it also works fabulously as a primer. As the weather starts to heat up, keep an eye out at your stores. I hear it goes really fast! I forgot to snap a photo. Whoops!

Pineapple Probiotic – A friend recommended this to me and I couldn’t find it for awhile, but I finally got my hands on some. It’s in the refrigerated section and tastes only like pineapple juice (nothing gross, promise).

Marula Facial Oil – I’m included this one, even though I didn’t use it for very long. I think it’s a great hand moisturizer. People on the internet rave about it for your face and it just didn’t ring my bell, but I’m also very picky about my facial products. That said, it made all the difference on my dry cracked hands, even though that’s not how it’s marketed.

Chhurpi Puffs – The dogs are OBSESSED with these dried cheese cubes. I will warn you, they kind of make a huge mess, but if your pets are like ours, they will lick the floor. My parents’ Lab loves them too.

Trader Joe’s Dry Shampoo – Listen, I am a Living Proof loyalist, so with that in mind I have to say – I really like this and for one main reason: it’s not an aerosol. The product smells nice and rubs in well. I find it works best in my hair if I put it in at night and really massage it into my scalp. The next morning, my hair feels fresh. I’ve also used it as a texturizing powder and it gets 10/10 from me!

Hold The Cone Chocolate Chip – I will be honest and say I had hesitations about these mini cones of ice cream. To be frank, I didn’t think it would be enough to satisfy my major sweet tooth. I was wrong and I want the whole world to know how good these are!

Grapefruit Candle – Dane doesn’t like grapefruit (in any form) so I was shocked when he agreed that this candle smells amazing. It’s the perfect light spring scent.

Strawberries and Cream Gelato – I think this product is new for spring at Trader Joe’s and it’s neutral for me, but Dane LOVED it. It’s worth noting that I think the flavor is excellent, but there are chunks of fruit in it, which is an automatic no.
